Your generous monetary donation makes it possible for us to buy nutritious, filling foods such as meal-replacement bars and bean-and-rice burritos, along with blankets, sleeping bags, portable air mattresses, socks, shoes, and hygiene items to share with homeless people in our community. We can also accept donations of certain kinds of food and socks.

Please follow us on Facebook. When you share the word with your friends, in person or on social media, you help to bring this cause to the attention of other caring people like yourself. As interest grows, we will be able to reach out to more people and bring hope and encouragement to those who need it most. So you are invited to tell others about this outreach.
Volunteer with us on the street
We welcome in-person assistance from friendly volunteers who like to smile and listen to others, to join us in direct outreach to the less fortunate on the streets downtown. All it takes is a smile, a genuine concern for others, and a willingness to listen to whatever is on their heart while you share food, clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags with those who need them most. We can also use volunteers to help put together snack packs and care packs.
Greet homeless people
When you see a homeless person on the street, don’t pass them by or walk around them. Make friendly eye contact, smile, and greet them! In the area where we currently serve downtown, there are million-dollar yachts a few yards away from where homeless people are sleeping on the sidewalk or park benches. They may feel ignored and forgotten. They need everyone’s kindness in addition to the friendship and tangible help that we provide.
